mechanical fuel pump failure

Post [email protected] »

Hello everybody.
Yesterday I had a complete failure of the mechanical fuel pump (it's not nice at 2500 fts)
Because the engine has only 9 hours of life, I'd like to know if it was just a random failure of it could have been caused by a my misbehavior with the engine/plane

Thanks
Happy landings !!!

It's a random failure. You cannot hurt a mechanical fuel pump through the way you operate the engine. :)
