Incorrect Aileron Movement

Post HighFlier »

Hello all,

Bought the Comanche today and immediately fell in love with it. A2A has definitely raised the bar and upheld their commitment to producing fantastic aircraft.

I did, however, notice a small bug. When moving the aileron with my mouse in combo with the walkaround feature, the yoke moves incorrectly. At first I thought this was A2A simulating an A&P mechanic rigging the controls backwards, and I got all excited that this was something that needed to be checked for during the preflight. Upon using my joystick however, the yoke and aileron are rigged correctly.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the door.
2. Use the walkaround feature of the tablet to change the view to the right aileron.
3. Pan camera slightly to see the yokes, and use the mouse (NOT joystick) to deflect the aileron.
4. Observe incorrect yoke/aileron behavior.

I have attached two pictures as reference. The first is one from inside the cockpit, using my joystick to deflect the yoke and aileron (correct behavior is seen). The second is from the walkaround perspective, using my mouse to deflect the aileron (incorrect behavior seen).

Just realized there is a separate forum for the MSFS version... didn't mean to post in the P3D. Can a forum admin/mod move this thread to the correct forum? Sorry and thanks.

Hello HighFlyer and welcome.

Yes, well spotted one this little animation error, it's one that was missed in testing. It has already been reported though, and it's on our list for a forthcoming fix. Great to hear you're enjoying the Comanche so much and thanks for the post. :)
