The windscreen on the Comanche has a slight tint and blurriness to it in VR (barely noticeable with HP Reverb G2, probably not with smaller resolutions). I'm fine with the tint, but the blurriness is a bit irritating.
For some reason, clicking and dragging mixture and heater is bit jittery in VR (legacy mode, not the new one with blue flashing knobs). The mixture lever, for example, likes to "bounce" back a little even though my mouse only moves forward. My theory is that it is somehow linked to small head movements (only initial theory at this point).
I also noticed that correcting the gyro drift on the HSI affects GTN 530 heading TRK. Should it work this way? Also on this subject, the compass tooltip gives readings that are sometimes a few degrees off of what I'm seeing. Where does this tooltip heading number come from?

Im also experiencing the blurriness looking out the window, it was too the point where I thought my settings got changed somehow. Please A2A either give us an option to remove the blurriness or get rid of it all together. BTW im NOT in VR.
Re: Windscreen slightly blurry in VR and other small misc.
Cheers,
I opened another thread with this issue, just leaving a note here to agree. It's quite irritating, I use HD ground textures and the windows make them more or less obsolete.

First thought after installing new driver, that I somehow turned on a filter or somehow changed the sharpness settings somewhere. Sticked the head out the window an realised, it's not a bug, it's a feature. After a little time of adjustment it's fine for me. It's more than fine. I like it. This is what old tinted windows do. @ A2A don't remove it completely, just give those who don't like it the option for a clear window, if you want to do something about it.

If the blurry effect is intended it would really be great to remove it by choice, if possible. VR is blurry enough in MSFSStefanL wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 05:05First thought after installing new driver, that I somehow turned on a filter or somehow changed the sharpness settings somewhere. Thanks for the reports guys, investigating a couple of the reported VR issues, but can't recall seeing any blurriness through the glass in testing (and we've done quite a bit of testing in VR). Anyway, will try to reproduce and will let you know how we get on.

What kind of anti-aliasing do your VR testers use? I use DLSS and I recall that Boeing and Airbus screens are ghosting with DLSS. Could the cockpit windows cause this effect?Nick - A2A wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 10:32Thanks for the reports guys, investigating a couple of the reported VR issues, but can't recall seeing any blurriness through the glass in testing (and we've done quite a bit of testing in VR). The effect is quite small, so a tester with lower resolution headset would not notice it easily. I had to stick my head through the side window ( ) multiple times to confirm that it was not only the tint. I do not use DLSS currently. As MarcE wrote, VR is blurry enough without added blurriness

Hello fellow VR users. Are any of you experiencing issues with moving the tablet about in the cockpit? I can grab the tablet but as soon as I move it with either my mouse or Vr controller, I lose my grip on the tablet. The only way to move the tablet in VR is to repeatedly click and drag in increments which is pain to do.
I'm using Reverb G2 V2.

I fly exclusively in VR with the HP Reverb G2 and have no blurry issues.
Has anyone tried to open the windows to allow air flow or use the door air vents. I think it is just fogging up.

I can confirm the slight blurry.
I use a Varjo Aero (RTX 4090 and DLSS) and
the cockpit ventilation doesn't seem to affect, the windows aren't fogged up.
With lower resolutions it may well be that it is not noticeable at all.

Jup I thought that at first, too. I opened the windows, opened the vent, played with the heating to check if there was a logical reason but it seems it's either the texturing or any filters on our side.DeadZone44 wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 13:01I fly exclusively in VR with the HP Reverb G2 and have no blurry issues.

The effect is like a picture smoothing, sharp textures blurr with each other. Hard to explain and mostly impossible to take a picture of it in VR..
Re: Windscreen slightly blurry in VR and other small misc.
Im not in VR and the blurriness is quite annoying, really wish A2A can add a feature to turn it on or off for people that want clear windows.

Re: Windscreen slightly blurry in VR and other small misc.
Thanks for the reports guys, we will see if we can add some option or some such in there. I tend to see it as a feature not a bug as ive never driven or flown a moving vehicle that hasn't had windows that are so clear they are the same as if the window wasn't there so for me id like to keep it an immersive option.
thanks,
Lewis
