I have problem with towing. I press T on the tablet. I'm transferred to external view with tow bar installed. I operate the yoke back and forward, the airplane moves a bit up and down (like compressing the front wheel strut). Tie downs, wheel chocks, hand brake released.
This probably doesn't matter but I fly in VR and I tested towing on grass parking area. I have no problem with taxing, the only difference - when attempting towing the engine is not running.

Re: Towing problem
Hello,
Please can you just clarify if this is an issue you're experiencing only in VR? Or do you have the same problem if you use the towing feature when using a regular monitor too?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Towing problem
If the airplane is parked on concrete (hard surface) the towing works.
The issue happens both in 2D and VR, when the airplane is parked on grass (I observed it on 2 separate add-on fields with grass parking spots designated).
Seems like there is some initial drag caused by grass surface which can't be overcome. When I move the yoke left/right (aileron axis), the wheel is not moving at all.
My yoke is configured via Axis and Ohs:
- AXIS_ELEVATOR_SET
- AXIS_AILERON_SET
It works properly in non-towing mode (operating the yoke in the plane).
Brakes test program reports 3 zeros (left brake, right brake, parking brake).
From RW experience i know that towing on grass requires much more force vs. concrete. And my experience is limited to C150-class 2-seaters. But even with Comanche it should be possible to tow on grass with a strong hands, back, and legs
There is a setting in the Comanche tablet for the "yoke force". Could it matter here?

Re: Towing problem
Just double-checked and towing on grass parking spots working fine here (tested with a couple of Orbx airfields).
Is the ground you're trying to tow over flat and level? Also. have you tested with default scenery?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Towing problem
Are you sure you are not trying to tow it when it is full of fuel and bags? Because it won't move when too heavy. Empty the plane and see if that helps.

Re: Towing problem
Plane is rather light: no bags, no wingtip tanks, no passengers, main tanks 70l of fuel each.
The grass terrain is flat.
I will test on some other airfield. I wonder why the front wheel is not even moving left/right when I operate aileron axis of my yoke.

In my experience, it does not steer left or right until you start moving.StekuSteku wrote: ↑Yesterday, 10:48Plane is rather light: no bags, no wingtip tanks, no passengers, main tanks 70l of fuel each.
